Grand Opening of the Year, an unprecedented spectacular event! On March 4, 2024, the three‑day 2024 China (Zhengzhou) International Window, Door & Whole-Home Expo (CIDE) grandly opened at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This year's expo was jointly hosted by the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association, the Henan Door & Window Industry Association, the Zhengzhou Sliding Door Industry Association, and the Henan Gonghe Whole-Home Customization Professional Committee, and was organized by Henan Zhongzhan Power Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Henan Zhongli Exhibition Services Co., Ltd.

As the first exhibition of the home building and furnishing industry in 2024, this year's expo featured an exhibition area of 100,000 m², bringing together thousands of brand exhibitors from across the country. With a multi-format, large-scale, and full-category display layout, it was dedicated to building a high-quality trade platform with strong multi-channel connectivity for the entire industry, creating an industrial cooperation event that showcased manufacturing excellence, quality enhancement, trend leadership, and supply-demand matching. A vast array of new home products demonstrated the vitality of integrated industry development, co-creating a highly anticipated industry gathering. The direct on-site trade transactions and subsequent cooperation value on the first day alone amounted to hundreds of millions of RMB, boosting the release of home furnishing consumption potential and injecting new vitality into market recovery.

At 9:30 a.m, the opening ceremony of the 2024 China (Zhengzhou) International Window, Door & Whole-Home Expo (CIDE) was held at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

After the opening ceremony, the attending leaders and guests toured the exhibition halls, visiting participating brands and exhibits, learning about the expo's preparations and highlights, and engaging in exchanges with exhibitors. They highly affirmed and recognized the successful organization of this year's expo.

On the opening day, visitors from all directions arrived as expected. The expo venue was packed with bustling crowds, and the atmosphere for negotiation and cooperation was vibrant. Every booth was extremely lively, with purchasers and distributors streaming through, inquiring about products, discussing policies, and signing deals. The robust supply‑demand interactions showcased the strong resilience and bright prospects of the home building and furnishing industry, thriving against headwinds.

Against the backdrop of policies aimed at expanding domestic demand and stimulating consumption, the 2024 Zhengzhou Window, Door & Whole-Home Expo fully leveraged its platform value, focusing on both supply and demand sides. By efficiently connecting home furnishing brands and creating cross‑sector experiential scenarios, it displayed cutting‑edge products and technologies, continuously expanding and optimizing the supply of home products, and injecting strong momentum into the expansion of domestic demand and the stimulation of industrial consumption.

This year's expo brought together brand enterprises from across the industry chain, with multiple themed pavilions covering sub‑categories including Integrated Door, Wall & Cabinet Systems; wooden doors; sliding doors; Metal Doors; window & door systems; Whole-Home Customization; high‑end custom home furnishing; woodworking machinery; hardware & locks; and accessories & auxiliary materials.

Concurrently with the expo, the "2024 China (Central) Window, Door & Custom Home Furnishing Development Forum and Quality·Service Dual Commitment Brand 20‑Year Tour (Zhengzhou)," hosted by the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association and the Henan Door & Window Industry Association, was successfully held. Nearly 200 people attended the conference, including President Li Jiafeng of the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association, President Zheng Jiangtao of the Henan Door & Window Industry Association, President Guan Runkai of the Wood Door Professional Committee of the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association, Executive President Zhang Peng (also Deputy Secretary-General of the China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association), secretaries-general from various provincial and municipal industry associations, as well as brand representatives from the national window, door, custom, and furniture industries, and members of the news media.

During the forum, speakers shared insights on product iteration, customization trends, home fashion colors, and the inheritance and innovation of traditional culture, while also engaging in in-depth discussions on how home furnishing enterprises can pursue high-quality development. The panelists expressed their views freely and resonated with one another, presenting the audience with a feast of intellectual collision and wisdom exchange.

This year's expo continued to advance its integrated online offline strategy. The official Douyin and Video Account channels broadcast the live event without interruption, while the self media matrix provided 360-degree comprehensive promotion, fully presenting the new ecosystem of industry development.
